Pimpri Chinchwad: Signals have been arranged at every intersection to ensure smooth communication in the city. However, the citizens do not notice that the signals on the Aundh Rawet BRT road at Punawale and Pimple Nilakh are simultaneously green-lighted. Baban Bapu Pawar has asked that the penalty system should take note of the incident and the municipal corporation should repair the signal system immediately.
CCTV cameras have been installed above every signal in the city of Pimpri Chinchwad to make communication smooth. In this, action is being taken against many vehicles after breaking the signal. Thousands of vehicles are coming and going on the road every day, if the signal system is bad, green and red lights are flashing at the same time, then confusion is created in the minds of the drivers.
For this, like the action of Tukaram Maharaj, “Loka sange brahgyan…” i.e. when the administration expects to follow the signal, not to break the signal. In such a case, it is also their responsibility to keep the signal system smooth and they will not shirk their responsibility. Before taking action on the vehicles in the city, it is the responsibility of the municipal administration to keep all the signal systems and advertisements in a state where they are clearly visible and the citizens are not confused. Baban Pawar has demanded that it should be done with the joint initiative of the Commissioner of Police.
